Some donuts are about subtlety. The Sprinkle is not one of them, and that’s exactly the point.
Pan Bagels’ Sprinkle Donut starts with the same scratch-made, yeast-leavened dough that goes into our Raised Donut: proofed low and slow for a pillowy, airy crumb that fries up light and golden. Then comes the finish that makes it its own thing, a thick coat of bright pink or chocolate glaze, set generously and topped with a shower of pink and white sprinkles that stick in every corner.
It looks like a celebration. It tastes like one too.
The glaze is sweeter and more substantial than the clean coat on our classic Raised, which means the Sprinkle hits differently: more indulgent, more color, more fun on the plate. It’s the donut kids reach for first at the counter, and the one adults grab when they’re not overthinking it.
At $1.99, it’s one of the most cheerful things on our menu and one of the easiest decisions you’ll make all morning. Grab one, or a half dozen, at Pan Bagels, 4022 Sunrise Blvd, Suite 110, Rancho Cordova, CA. Order ahead on DoorDash or stop in while they last.
